As I said the other day, I am catching up. And apparently I am catching up to the idea of blogging twice a week as well. I was off with the the kids running errands yesterday (nothing like being ten minutes out from the orthodontist and hearing, “Oh, no! I forgot my retainer” which was the sole reason for going) and listening to the only three Beatle’s songs Matthew likes (Help, Daytripper, and Lady Madonna), I recalled that it was Thursday and I hadn’t blogged. Sorry, I was busy writing the proposal for the next book and sort of forgot a bunch of things. I also remembered that I had competing lunch and hair cut appointments for today. And I still need to cancel trampoline class.

What is coming soon in my life is going to Cape May, NJ with my Mom for a few days. A couple of years ago we went and had a wonderful time. We told the family ALL about it and when they came down for just the day, they were not as excited as she and I. So, this time, it is just her and I in a hotel with an ocean view and JUST across the street from the ocean. It should be a lot of fun.
I also take a vacation once a year with my buddies and this year is Key West, FL. I am SOOO excited! I have never been there and I think it will be so much fun. Can’t wait to see Ernest Hemingway’s house (especially his cats) and all the ships! Gotta have some margaritas, too!
Coming soon to my life is weight loss and a race medal. I signed up for Weight Watchers and I signed up to run the Rock n Roll 1/2 marathon in my area. I plan to finish the race and get my medal . . .even if I have to crawl over the finish line (I know, a tad dramatic but no worries, it won’t come to that). I hope your summer is Wonderful!
